Day 5 It’s All About Me

Today is All About Me, it is my Birthday.  No great plans as of yet, I have a Bee meeting today which I always look forward to.  My son brought me two pair of ear rings silver and gold and plans to take me out to dinner to some restaurant I never heard of.  Told me I have to experience something other then what I see on T.V.  (Outback, Applebee's and the like).  As you know from Friday’s post, “It’s All About Me” shoulder bag, Tom brought me a new sewing machine.  I set it up, but have been sew buzzy reading comments and answering them, then check out the other participants and leaving comments, then back to reading more comments, I have not had a chance to even thread  the darn thing yet.  Well if I am not too tired when I get home form the meeting I might just thread the darn thing and see what it can do.

After work yesterday, I went to visit my mother at the hospital, she had surgery on her back and now is in therapy.  She is coming along fine.  Had to stop by the store to pick up some more Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls for my Dad so he will have something other then McDonalds to eat.  I do fix him dinner when I cook, but there is nothing better then a Hungry Man Dinner in a pinch.

 

Well we are off and running on the 5th day of this hop, and I have to tell you there are some creative quilters out there.  I am enjoying go to visit them all.  So with out further ado, here is todays line up of creative quilters doing themselves proud.
