Winner of Blog Hop - Toilet Backup

I have a winner for my giveaway on the Rush Hour Blog Hop.  As soon as she gets back to me with her information I will share the news with all of you.  Again I hope you all enjoyed this hop, I thought is was great.

On another note,  This morning I notice that it seem we were having problems with the bathroom toilet backing up and going into the tub.  I had Tom to call the Plummer to take a look at it.

It was more of a problem then either of us thought, after sneaking the tub and the toilet which was all together $300 (hit my fabric money pretty hard) the flush valve spring was broken.  Because this is a special type of mechanism it can only be ordered.  The piece is only $14.00 and will take a week on the fastest delivery they have.

I feel like flushing me down the sewer.  I will be going to the basement during the day and once I in bed at night and have to go I will have to do it the old fashion way.  Not even going to write about it.

  1. I can relate to the problem, but luckily just a leaky seal on the tub.

  2. Oh, no! You could write a whole separate blog about toilets and the trouble they cause you! :-)

  4. Oh yes, the dreaded toilets, I know them sew well! Mine talked to themselves. I let the plumber listen over the phone, and he had me call the manufacturer. They kindly sent me the parts for free but would of charged him, go figure.
