That new baby might just be the ticket to get you rolling, rolling, rolling. I belong to a widow's group where I am the youngest one in the group. Most of the ladies are in their 80's and much more active than I am. Through hearing what they do, one of the ladies has encouraged me to start knitting chemo and preemie hats instead of spending so much time on the Internet. She is in her 80's and knits preemie hats each evening to relax. She just announced Monday at our meeting that she is leaving our group so that she will have time to assist pastors in visiting shut-ins from our large church. It will probably require 8 hours per month as a commitment. She is quite a lady and makes me feel very inadequate.Suzehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05825257012315494167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-523216276020125931.post-3971900888562827152015-01-22T11:16:37.723-05:002015-01-22T11:16:37.723-05:00Happy New Year Felicia!!! I am a child of the 80s so I "got" all of the references you used in your post and they made me smile. A good friend got a quilting machine last year so one of my goals is quilt 6 UFO quilt tops this year along with my regular quilting. If I do that it will be the most I have ever completed in a year. It is a stretch goal but hey, you only live once :)Reginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03358487320629420702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-523216276020125931.post-83849550485067734602015-01-22T10:41:24.778-05:002015-01-22T10:41:24.778-05:00I am bogged down too. Good to know all ...I was wondering where you were! Good to know all is well with you, and you are just taking a break, something we all need to do at some point. Congrats on the new grandbaby...that is such great news, and yes, you could be making all those really cute baby things, and you will, when you feel like it. Right now, I'm sewing kitchen accessories for the bridal shower of one of our granddaughters' and having a good time doing so. Lately it seems all I've been making are baby items for all the great granddaughters we've been having, so this is a nice change. lv2bquilting2@comcast.netSylvia Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04564920688009926505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-523216276020125931.post-9060500402913273462015-01-22T05:58:18.072-05:002015-01-22T05:58:18.072-05:00hello my dear..
